Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

The Role

Pure hunter position focused on new business. Seeking a self-motivated salesperson with strong food industry experience (chemical a plus) to own and grow these territories.

You'll inherit a solid pipeline, hit the ground running, and drive growth. Lead 2-3 independent reps with full autonomy, supported by operations and direct leadership access.

Key Responsibilities

• Hunt and win new food/chemical accounts
• Own full sales cycle: prospect, quote, negotiate, close, follow-up
• Train, motivate, and hold reps accountable
• Become a Technical Expert: Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and reps, providing application guidance on solutions ranging from standalone equipment to complex integrated systems.
• Build lasting key customer relationships
• Analyze trends and report strategy

Ideal Candidate

• Proven hunter: Track record of self-generating opportunities and exceeding targets
• Self-starter with disciplined sales process
• Great listener who uncovers needs first
• 5+ years capital equipment sales (material handling/food processing preferred; food background strongly favored)
• Experience managing independent reps/distributors
• Technical aptitude and strong communication/negotiation skills
