Senior BIM Architectural Engineer

Job Purpose:

• The Senior BIM Architectural Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the (BIM) processes and workflows related to Architecture in
• the Pods projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Architectural engineering principles and Revit software is a Must.
• The role requires solid understanding of construction processes, building systems, sustainability principles, Design and Execution standards. Involvement in project coordination to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of Architectural designs and delivery of high quality drawings and models

Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting:
• Develop and review Architectural designs, layouts, and schematics using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, local codes, and client specifications.

• BIM Coordination & Management:
• Lead and manage the BIM processes for Architecture, ensuring that all components are accurately modeled and integrated into the BIM system.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, structural, mechanical) to resolve clashes and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the BIM model.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 19650 and company-specific BIM protocols.

• Quality Control & Assurance:
• Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of the Architecture BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the design phase to minimize changes during construction.

• Leadership & Mentorship:
• Lead, mentor, and train junior BIM engineers and designers.
  Provide guidance on Architectural and BIM standards, processes, and best practices to ensure the team adheres to company and industry standards.

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Engineering

Experience:

Mandatory:

• 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 4 years in BIM modeling and coordination.

Skills:

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects.
• Ability to manage and prepare work plans for Architectural team
• Experience in both design and construction firms if preferable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in High-end residential and hospitality projects.
• Experience in writing clear RFIs.
• Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
• Familiarity Saudi Code for building standards is a plus.
• PMP and management certificates is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional BIM-related tools such as Dynamo, BIM 360 is a plus.
