Forklift Operator

Job Purpose:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and organize goods in the factory. This role ensures the safe and efficient handling of products while maintaining accuracy and following company procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods
• Perform daily equipment checks to ensure forklifts are in good working condition.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or risks in the work area
• Coordinate with factory staff, supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety protocol and ensure that all the team member adhere to safety regulations and best practices

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator
• High communication skills

Experience:

Mandatory:

• Minimum 5 years experience in loading and logistics

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Train and mentor new staff and apprentices on techniques and safety practices
• Good communication skills
