Mechanical Leadman

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Leadman to join our team. If you have experience leading mechanical workers and are passionate about ensuring the efficient installation of mechanical systems, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Purpose: As the Mechanical Leadman, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical workers in the construction and installation of mechanical systems for our modular pods. You will ensure that mechanical systems are installed according to specifications and safety standards, leading the team to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assembly and installation of mechanical systems, including ceiling assembly and final fixes.
• Tag each assembly per the drawings to ensure correct installation.
• Report daily production progress to your direct supervisor.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and brief the team on the tasks of the day.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety regulations.
• Ensure that tools and power tools are used safely, and report any breakdowns.
• Mentor and guide new staff and apprentices on installation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and material lists.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in executing mechanical systems installation.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and supervise a team of plumbers and duct men.
• Expertise in drainage, plumbing, HVAC systems, firefighting, and sanitary ware installation.
• Good communication skills to effectively guide and explain tasks to the team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
