Job Title: Remote Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), and the ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently. This is a fully remote role, but applicants must be based in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create test strategies.
- Track, document, and report bugs using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Work with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Provide feedback to improve the overall user experience and software functionality.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing and QA processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of testing tools and bug-tracking systems.
- Experience with SQL for database testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to report findings effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker).
- ISTQB or other QA certification.
- Knowledge of security and performance testing.
