Pay: $34.00 per hour
Schedule: 12–16 hour day or night shifts, working 13 consecutive days followed by 1 day off

Position Summary

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, fitting, and welding structural steel while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires dependable individuals who are committed to safety, quality workmanship, and meeting production schedules in an industrial construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures.
  • Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
  • Perform fit-up, layout, and fabrication of structural steel members.
  • Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous structural welding experience required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Experience with FCAW, SMAW, or other structural welding processes preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
  • Willingness to work 12–16 hour shifts on a schedule of 13 consecutive days followed by 1 day off.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
