What you'll do

• Assist experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial environments.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.

• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure systems are functioning correctly.

• Participate in the installation of low voltage and high voltage wiring while following the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.

• Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including frame carpentry, to enhance your overall skill set.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience related to commercial electrical work.

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in commercial electrician roles.

• Understanding of NEC standards and regulations.

• Construction site experience that showcases your ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong blueprint reading skills that enable you to follow complex instructions accurately.
• 4 years or more experience in commercial
