Job Title - Junior Software Engineer

Location - Remote Anywhere in Europe (Contract outside the UK / Permanent in the UK)

Salary - £35,000 £45,000 per annum

Role Summary

We're looking for a Junior Software Engineer to support the backend team in developing scalable features and maintaining critical services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn modern technologies in a supportive and high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining APIs using Django Rest Framework
• Assist with integrating external services and managing AWS Lambda functions
• Write unit and integration tests using Pytest to ensure high code quality
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Learn from senior team members and contribute to improving platform performance

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Expertise

• 1-2 years experience in backend software development
• Working knowledge of Django Rest Framework and PostgreSQL
• Exposure to cloud-based environments (preferably AWS)
• Interest in finance/fintech or enterprise automation tools is advantageous
