Salary Range: Up to £50,000 per annum + Double OTE
Location: Remote (Must be UK-based)
Reports to: Founder/CEO

The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be the first sales hire in the UK, playing a pivotal role in driving the companys expansion across EMEA and beyond. You will be a 360 sales professional with the ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, you will have the autonomy to shape your role and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients across various industry verticals, focusing on EMEA and global markets.
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive new business and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder/CEO and other team members to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Utilize existing contacts and networks while actively seeking out new opportunities to grow the business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to effectively position the companys solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in selling cross-border payment solutions on a global scale, particularly within the fintech sector.
- Strong experience in a 360 sales role, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and drive.
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A hunter mentality with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with industry verticals such as import/export, financial services, professional services, shipping, and freight.
