About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale website project (~$1M). This role requires a seasoned freelancer who is comfortable managing 3-6 month contracts with the potential for extension.
You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing high-value website projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale website project (~$1M budget).
Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
Coordinate between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive project alignment.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing website projects of a similar scale (~$1M budget).
Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Experience working in freelance or contract-based roles.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, website development cycles, and CMS platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable with a 3-6 month contract with an option to extend.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise-level website builds.
Background in digital agencies, SaaS, or tech-driven environments.
Knowledge of SEO, UX best practices, and web performance metrics.
Remote Work Expectations
- Work Hours: You'll work remotely and will need to be available during key business hours in the Australian AEST time zone, with flexibility for certain project deadlines required.
- Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with the team via tools like Slack, Zoom, and email. Attendance at key virtual meetings will be required.
- Self-management: Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks independently and maintaining clear communication with the agency's clients and project stakeholders.
