Who is our Client?

Our client is a global company with employees from over 10 different countries. They were originally founded in Europe and now headquartered in Japan after being bought out and relocating here. They have developed a cutting-edge fashion and apparel related technology.  As of now, our client's technology is used by more than 100 fashion and apparel brands ranging from large and small.  Although the company's official language is English, the business team operates in Japanese.

What you will be doing...

• General accounting duties (cost accounting, bank statement reconciliation, expense tracking etc.)
• Generating regular financial reports on a timely basis, and providing special reports when required such as at year-end
• Consolidating financial statements
• Reviewing and analysing financial data and creating solutions for better financial tracking, expense management etc.
• Finance system design for an upcoming IPO

Who you are...

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Nissho Boki 2nd grade qualification and above
• Conversational level English and professional working proficiency in Japanese

Preferred

• Well-versed in balance sheet consolidation
• Cost accounting experience
• Corporate audit experience
