Downtown Toronto, Ontario (505 University Avenue) Hybrid: 3 days in, 2 days remote

Contract (10+ months to start, with high possibility of extension)

Seeking two experienced Full‑Stack .NET Core Developers to support the modernization of a legacy Case Management System. The successful candidates will migrate existing functionality written in Classic ASP/VBScript into a modern .NET Core architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Modernize and rebuild legacy Classic ASP/VBScript components using .NET Core
• Develop backend components using C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server
• Build responsive UI with HTML5, CSS/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Analyze legacy code and implement modern equivalents
• Use Visual Studio as the primary development environment
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions

Must Haves:

• 5+ years Analyze legacy code and implement modern equivalents
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
• 5+ years Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework
• 5+ years Solid SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, optimization)
• 5+ years Experience with Classic ASP / VBScript migration

Nice to have:

• Government experience
