Senior Solutions Architect

Toronto (Hybrid/ Remote)

Senior Solutions Architect to lead architectural efforts across the multiple Agile teams within the organization, and to help the teams to integrate their Java/ C++ systems, which are all running on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Work with architects and international technology steering & work group committee to ensure architecture evolves in the direction of best serving current and future business needs.
• Work with the product team in evaluating emerging product ideas and assessing the high-level efforts, risks and paths to implementation.
  
• Provide input to strategic and technical planning for key software projects.
• Engage in cross-product technology dialogues to secure the group's representation and visibility.
• Work with engineering teams to produce the best solutions for impactful technological tasks and business tasks.
• Participate in infrastructure transformation activities to provide a solid foundation on which systems runs on.
• Participate in the production incident resolution process not only to ensure the best fix is implemented for the current issue but also to make forward-looking plans to optimize the system from the architectural perspective.

Must have

• 3+ years experience as a software architect working in Java and/or C++ systems
• 10+ years in software engineering working in Java and/or C++ systems
• Extensive experience with AWS
• Extensive experience working on integration projects
• Experience working within an Agile environment
