We have both a Medical and Surgical ICU in our hospital who are looking for members to join their teams. Our Medical ICU is a 17 bed unit with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:2. On this unit you will see all intensive care patients that have not undergoing surgery to include but not limited to: Gi Bleed, renal failure, balloon pump, ETOH withdrawal, Drug Overdose, sepsis, COPD, Post Cardiac Arrest. Our Surgical ICU is a 16 bed unit with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:2. On this unit you will see post-operative open heart, Thoracotomy, Major Vascular, Neurosurgery along with any post-surgical patient requiring ICU monitory.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.

Must haves:

• 1+ year of RN experience, previous ICU experience will be given preference
  
• Nursing Degree (BSN preferred)
• Idaho RN license
