Scientist Specialty Fertilizer Product Technologist

Staff Scientist Product Technologist is expected to Initiate, Propose and Execute research and development projects, they should be aware of the megatrends in the industry and familiar with new trends and products. Lead in-house new product technology development, scale-up &
implementations in commercial plants. Provide technology support to commercial teams and
drive specialty roadmap commercialization.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Provide solutions based on market requirement analysis and drive product development until it reaches commercial plants.
• Expertise in Urea based fertilizer
• Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed.
• Provide trouble-shooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants.
• Development and invention of new products and application in the specialty Agri-Nutrients fields related to SABIC AN.
• Participate in in-house product technology development, scale-up & implementations in commercial plants.
• Collaborate with external companies, start-ups and universities and lead projects toward implementation in the plant.
• Provide insights, directions and support to products development within the group.
• Collect and interpret market, customers and farmer data and collaborate with MDTS and business to make recommendations for improvements to ensure competitiveness.
• Actively contribute to safety culture, coaching young employees and initiate new 
  

Must-Haves: 

• Experience of 5 years in dealing with new product development, preferably in the fertilizer space 
• Masters, PhD is preferred.
