General Description

Responsible for performing quality assurance IAM responsibilities for our Puerto Rico third party vendor. Your role will be responsible to define, implement and operationalize assessments for IAM tasks. Analyzing the current state of IAM processes and identifies deficiencies or inefficiencies in current processes, data, and/or systems and recommends changes or improvements. Conducts system testing to identify flaws and guarantee accuracy/performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform secondary quality assurance, for joiner, mover, leaver processes. Rigorous testing required to guarantee compliance of Information Technology General Controls and standards.
  • Perform secondary quality assurance for access provisioning to detect over permission cases and prevent non-compliance with the Principal of Least Privilege.
  • Perform secondary quality assurance for user and access certifications, effectively identifying potential human errors, inaccuracies, and bugs.
  • Understands and supports the IAM general controls.
  • Creates test cases and run those tests to ultimately report success or failure. (Upgrades, workflows, reports)
  • Reports and defines defects found during testing.
  • Must record the methodology, procedures, and findings in written format.
  • Play critical role to support the closure and prevention of deficiencies.
  • Supports the prevention and detection of deficiencies, conducts self-assessments, automated assessments, and resolution of identified issues.
  • Timely support for internal and external audit requests and complies with appropriate remediation as required.
  • Understands the principal of least privilege, RBAC, segregation of duties, policy, regulatory requirements, and standards.
  • Collaborate with staff/management from various departments to communicate quality assurance results and potential issues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College in Information Systems or related fields

Experience

Two (2) years of related experience in: Audit/GRC areas (risk management, control, compliance) within the financial or consultancy industries.

Certifications / Licenses

The following certifications and/or licenses are not required but, desirable Certifications and licenses preferable CISA, CISM, CRISC and CISSP.

Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills. Experience with data analysis, persuasive and informative writing, workload management, and process management.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions.
  • Strong technical acumen: knowledge of IAM Governance, AML, BSA, Cyber Security, Information Security, and Information Technology concepts. Ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology. Robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision; self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organization capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change. Knowledge on project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
  • Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge on budget administration, resources allocation, organizations policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly.
  • Computer and technological skills: Proficient in MS Office 365. Experience with data management tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, among others is desired. Ability to achieve results by providing innovative ways of working with operational and technological considerations. Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes
