Job Description:
Reports to the Director, SOW Consulting within North America Procurement. This role is responsible for day-to-day operational vendor and client engagement activities for the Global Contingent Workforce Program. The Vendor Relations Manager will be a key member of the team contributing to the execution of the strategic objectives of the Contingent Workforce Program including program expansion, support new implementations, drive user adoption, and improve controls to ensure on-going feasibility and optimization of the Program.
Responsibilities:Support Program strategic expansion roadmap, including:
Lead data and contract analysis workstreams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to conduct in-depth contract reviews and analysis (pricing and contractual) to compile data for system upload.
Leverage Procurement and contracting best practice concepts lead the contracting efforts required to ensure audit and Program compliance.
Partner with team members to develop communication strategies to internal clients and vendor partners to drive and track Program expansion momentum.
Collaborate and manage relationships with internal clients and vendor community.Support the day-to-day operational vendor engagement activities.
Lead ad hoc project execution relating to business and vendor engagements and the continuous improvement of the Program.
Serve as a subject matter expert and first level escalation support to the offshore team in addressing the challenges and areas of improvement identified.
Work closely with Procurement Sourcing team and other stakeholders on issue resolutions.
Collaborate with Procurement Contract Team to align contract best practices required for Program compliance.
Support other project-based initiatives relating to contingent workers program as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
University degree
3+ year vendor management experience
3+ year contract management experienceExperience with contracts and services procurement
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Solid analytical skills
Excellence presentation skills and strong comfort level with key audiences
Experience building effective relationships with senior level representatives.
Experience building effective business cases supported by data.Able to lead cross functional teams to drive best outcomes.
Solution focused with strong understanding of outcomes.
Ability to work independently on multiple, simultaneous assignments and adjust priorities with minimal direction.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products: Outlook, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
Experience with a Vendor Management System (Beeline, Fieldglass, etc. Preferred)
Experience with Procurement Software preferred.
