Our first brand ''Somethinc'' was founded in 2019, and is currently the #1 skincare brand in e-commerce & modern trade with >1M social media followers. Our second brand Glowinc is breaking the boundaries by offering genderless products at affordable prices. Our offline/online commerce Beautyhaul is the core for carrying multiple brands that we have directly to our customers. We are incubating more and more business models on our platform and aim to be a strong regional player in beauty, within the South Asia region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple retail stores within the Nationwide area, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor and analyse store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Train, motivate, and support operation supervisors, store managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centricity.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with operational procedures, visual merchandising standards, and customer service protocols.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, merchandiser and HR, to execute promotional campaigns, staffing plans, and employee training initiatives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing valuable insights to inform business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations across all store locations.
- Prepare and present reports on store performance, sales forecasts, and operational metrics to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Operation Manager or similar role in the retail industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Great management and people-development skills, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and senior management.
- Effective communicator and an influential team player.
- Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management best practices.
- Detailed oriented, highly analytical and distinctly logical
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high goals and KPIs by delivering quick results
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Nationwide area.
