The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
- Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
- Develop Electrical design for Data Center projects.
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications.
- Act as an Owners Rep and support various engineering activities including design reviews, creation & review of MOP/EOPs, support of site operations, etc.
- Prepare technical documents such as reports or design calculations.
- Perform site condition assessments.
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area
- Do project studies Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis.
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
- Occasional travel for site visits (up to 10% travel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, with desire to develop into project lead for Data Center projects.
- Revit / AutoCAD experience.
- National Electric Code experience (as it relates to Building Design).
- ETAP / SKM experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience
