Job Description:

As a Structural Engineer working on linear infrastructure projects, you will:

- Assist in designing and analyzing transmission projects.

- Gather and analyze data for engineering tasks, conducting research, and making calculations following industry standards.

- Provide equipment and material recommendations, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

- Offer guidance to engineering team members.

- Maintain positive client relationships by understanding their needs and effectively communicating with the project team.

- Assist in business development activities.

- Serve as a technical specialist or in a leadership role.

- Apply advanced engineering techniques with minimal supervision.

- Expand your knowledge and skills in your field.

As part of the Operations team, you will work on projects supporting three market sectors: Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. You will be involved in various roles like Engineers, Technicians, and Skilled Specialists, contributing to projects globally, from small community improvements to large-scale Mega Projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Adhering to engineering standards, design guides, codes, and company policies.

- Maintaining quality and compliance with the quality program.

- Providing guidance to others in the same project and discipline.

- Preparing complex engineering deliverables, conducting research, and making recommendations.

- Managing budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

- Coordinating with internal and external team members on projects.

- Understanding client interests and drivers and incorporating them into project work.

- Managing people (supervision, career development, training, mentoring).

Preferred qualifications include strong PLS CADD experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in teams and handle ambiguity. Experience with utility-scale electrical transmission systems, structural design of transmission steel structures and foundations, and 3D analysis and design software is desirable.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience, and a PE License.
