Civil Engineer - Land Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial land development projects.
• Manage various aspects of land development site designs, including research, coordination, cost estimating, and permitting for land disturbance.
• Prepare bid packages, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Collaborate closely with a team of engineers, designers, contractors, and various jurisdictions to meet project objectives.
• Build and maintain meaningful internal and external professional relationships.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
• Strong experience in site civil design, permitting, and applicable software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with hydrology modeling, storm drainage programs, and construction document preparation.
• Proven experience in task management, concept design, and supporting project management efforts.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, attend meetings, and oversee quality standards.
• Design experience with utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.
