Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the planning, design, and construction oversight of various transportation projects for public sector clients. The role involves managing engineering teams across multiple disciplines, assisting in business development efforts, preparing proposals, negotiating project scopes, and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to project pursuits and oversee the execution of transportation-related planning and design initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Support proposal development, scope negotiations, and strategic business growth efforts within the highway design sector.
  • Engage in professional organizations (such as ASCE, ACEC, ITE) to strengthen industry connections.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and collaboration with other office locations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 510+ years of experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain within six months.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and Bentley MicroStation (InRoads/OpenRoads preferred).
  • Familiarity with relevant DOT Engineering Design Manuals and AASHTO Green Book guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license required.
