Key Responsibilities:
- Stay current on design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes.
- Apply knowledge to assigned tasks while adhering to quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Prepare moderately complex engineering deliverables and perform complex calculations.
- Conduct research and recommend equipment and materials selection.
- Identify and resolve problems within assigned projects and provide direction to team members when necessary.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate project details.
- Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and align project work accordingly.
- Share knowledge of the latest technology and processes with the team.
- Assist with performance management, mentoring, and team development.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD.
- Strong written communication, prioritization, delegation, and teamwork skills.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and relevant standards.
- Experience with utility-scale electrical transmission systems and structural design.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Ability to complete pre-employment requirements such as background checks and drug screening.
