About the job Project Executive

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15+ years of experience managing construction projects valued over $50 million.

Responsibilities:

Program Management & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance and excellence in contract review, estimating, turnover coordination, risk management, and project performance.
  • Support the project bidding process by reviewing bid requirements, assisting with team assignments, scope coverage, bid schedule development, and General Conditions budget creation.
  • Participate in the successful project buyout process.
  • Be accountable for safety on job sites, monitor accident trends, and enforce corrective actions to ensure safety, quality, profitability, and timely project completion.
  • Conduct regular visits to project sites to stay informed about construction activities.
  • Provide feedback to Estimating/Pre-Construction for current and future projects.
  • Participate in legal matters as needed.
  • Maintain regular attendance at worksites.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as required.

Talent Development & Management

  • Participate in recruiting, training, reviewing, and supervising project personnel, and contribute to the development of key positions.
  • Build partnerships to support team members' learning and career growth.
  • Assist in creating cross-functional teams and project plans to foster a solution-oriented environment.
  • Conduct important conversations on employee performance and development.
  • Motivate and support the team to consistently achieve higher performance, deliver better results, and uphold company values.

Business Development & Account Management

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify new market opportunities by sector and geography, contributing to the development of Account Plans.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including proposal and presentation development, and collaborate with the marketing team to craft messaging.
  • Regularly engage in networking and client events, supporting business development initiatives.
  • Review and manage project development plans and budgets in collaboration with the business unit leader.
  • Work with business development to develop project pursuit plans and foster a sales culture within the team.
