Overview:

We are seeking a Client Director to oversee and manage medium to large Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) or service projects. This role involves ensuring project success in terms of cost, schedule, quality, and overall execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight & Execution:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of engineering, procurement, and construction scope, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Maintain responsibility for project performance, financial metrics, planning, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee risk management strategies related to cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure successful staffing and resource allocation for projects.

Business Development & Client Engagement:

  • Develop and execute strategies for market growth, client engagement, and proposal development.
  • Lead marketing initiatives, identify new prospects, and manage the proposal and contracting process.
  • Foster client relationships and represent the company in industry and community activities.
  • Support the development of business plans and strategies to expand market presence.

Project Management & Financial Oversight:

  • Supervise engineering managers and ensure the achievement of project performance goals.
  • Actively participate in project team discussions and client interactions.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and payments.
  • Lead project performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering professional growth and performance improvement.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Contribute to recruitment efforts to expand the team with top talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License and a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and budgeting.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing, and payment structures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records verification, in compliance with relevant regulations.
