The Opportunity

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-profile municipal projects.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications to ensure successful outcomes.

Project Execution

  • Develop and review complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.

  • Conduct research and prepare recommendations for equipment and materials.

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control across disciplines.

  • Coordinate and direct production teams while serving as the responsible engineer in charge.

Client Interface

  • Build strong relationships by understanding client goals and priorities.

  • Communicate client needs to internal teams and develop effective solutions.

  • Support business development and pursuit efforts.

  • Manage project changes in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Technical Leadership

  • Guide multi-discipline teams to achieve technical and project milestones.

  • Provide expertise in complex water and wastewater treatment projects.

  • Drive innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.

People Management

  • Review and guide junior engineers work.

  • Mentor, coach, and manage team performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • Experience in consulting engineering.

  • Proven background managing water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).

Work Environment

  • Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the initial onboarding period.

  • Extended computer or desk work may be required.

  • Occasional travel to client sites.
