OBJECTIVES:

  • Responsible for the sale and promotion of the company's goods and services in a specified region or geographical area and provide ongoing support to the outlets as per the Head of Sales guidelines.
  • This role is 50% office based and 50% mobile office. It requires a professional office etiquette and also requires a high element of self-management and mobile office organization.
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours as per the contract. As this is a highly client-led hospitality role, regular evening and weekend work will be required.

DUTIES:

  • To Assist the Head of Sales with organisational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets
  • Be actively seen in the outlets and be aware of client visits to the outlets. Meet & greet and conducts client orientations in the outlets
  • Become actively involved in networking groups and new client outlet orientation
  • Act as a resource to clients in outlet sales related opportunities and proposals
  • Assist with the planning of sales promotions and strategies
  • Attend trade shows, networking events and client related gatherings
  • Participate in self-led education i.e. research and engage in online webinars & tutorials, books, articles and industry periodicals relating to the job and attend occasional conferences focused on hospitality, selling and marketing
  • Keep clients informed of new products/promotions, services and other general information of interest to customers.
  • Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining clients
  • Troubleshoot problems and finds solutions regarding sales pipeline
  • Answer questions from clients and handle complaints
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
