We are currently hiring for a Senior Active Directory Consultant for our client.  


Location: Mirabel, Canada - a suburb of Montreal

Rate: $70-80/hr CAD C2C

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months possible extension

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory (AD) Expert to support the integration of Client Canadas AD environment with Client Commercial. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AD management and infrastructure, along with exceptional autonomy and communication skills to meet project goals. This role requires close collaboration with a team of leaders and experts based in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

AD Integration & Administration: Manage and secure the integration of Client Canadas AD with Client Commercial, ensuring robust security policies across diverse AD environments.

Security Policies: Set up, implement, and adapt security policies to protect different AD environments.

VMware Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration and operation of VMware infrastructure.

Infrastructure & Tool Maintenance (MCO): Maintain and manage critical tools associated with Active Directory operations, including WSUS, SCOM, CA, and BC.

Migration Project Participation: Contribute to an ongoing migration project within Client, ensuring smooth and secure integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Proficient in MS Active Directory (AD) and AD domain services, VMware infrastructure, and general infrastructure management.

Tools Proficiency: Experience with Google Cloud Platform, SCOM, Unix, MS SQL Server, LDAP, ServiceNow, and related technologies.

ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for effective service management.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required.

Communication & Autonomy: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a virtual team environment.

Preferred Attributes:

Problem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex AD and infrastructure-related issues.

Project Management: Experience in supporting large-scale integration or migration projects.

Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with international teams, especially with experts based in Madrid, Spain.
