About the job SAP Security Support Analyst - ECC

We currently have an indefinite contract role as a SAP Security Support Analyst - ECC with our global SAP consulting client, working at remotely for a major electronics manufacturer. This is a 6 month contract initially, but will be renewed long term.

Rate: $45-50 CDN/hr C2C depending on overall experience

We are looking for one resource to support client's SAP security stack in afternoon hours. Which means hours are 12 PM EST to 8 PM EST.
- Access Management:
- Creating and managing user roles and authorizations based on business requirements.
- Performing user provisioning and deprovisioning tasks.
- Regularly reviewing user access for compliance and potential security risks.
- Security Policy Enforcement:
- Developing and maintaining SAP security policies aligned with organizational standards.
- Monitoring for unauthorized access attempts and potential security breaches.
- Implementing security controls to mitigate risks.
- Incident Response:
- Investigating security incidents within the SAP system.
- Identifying root causes of security issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Reporting security incidents to relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance Management:
- Ensuring SAP systems comply with industry regulations and internal security policies.
- Conducting regular security audits and assessments.
- Maintaining documentation of security configurations and compliance status.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Working with functional teams to understand business processes and security needs.
- Providing training and support to end-users on SAP security best practices.
- Collaborating with other IT teams on security initiatives across the organization.
Skills and experience
- 3-4 years of hands on support experience in SAP Security in ECC, CRM, Portal, SAP BW, GRC
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of SAP best practices
- Ability to identify, escalate, and address production issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
