Overview

Position Description

Responsible for deal shaping, scoping, solution development, competitive costing, and commercial proposition integration and business case alignment of solutions supporting client business, applications and/or information technology environments. Solution scope includes technology design, system integration or project services, steady-state IT service delivery, and services startup and transition. The solutions need to include aspects of people, technology and process for transformation and steady-state delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns design and development of application solutions, costing/pricing and their internal reviews (deal qualification, delivery assurance and commercials).
• Engage with client to understand requirements, provide thought leadership, advice on application selection, configuration to meet their needs and service transformation as needed.
• Leads client interaction during 'Application Solutioning' including solution/capability presentations, workshops as well as inbound and outbound due diligence.
• Engages throughout the opportunity lifecycle as required.
• Works with application and solution architects and SMEs assembled as necessary for supporting solution development.
• Research and gain knowledge on client and their industry context as well as competitors to enable winning solutions.
• Providing estimated timeframe and technical assessment of the tasks and activities to deliver the solution
• Be the trusted advisor to client and sales teams.
• Develops ideas and communicates status, issues, designs and plans
• Actively engage with service delivery to ensure ability to deliver the solution with quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Seven or more years of experience in application analysis, design and delivery, preferably within a consulting environment
• Experience working with company, client, and/or equivalent vendor-mandated methodology
• Experience working with software, hardware, data and testing standards
• Experience working with delivery assurance principles and procedures
• Experience working with business, management, and technology concepts
• Hands on experience with IT outsourcing or project opportunity lifecycle, sales and pre-sales process, deal costing and pricing concepts and tools, proposal writing, conducting client-facing presentations/workshops and deal governance.
• Sound knowledge and experience of ITSM and project management and advantage.
• Experience with mining industry focus areas
