Job Description:
Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance previous defence exp preferred.
Required Skills and Experience:
Professional Degree qualified Engineer.
- Experience with risk identification and analysis, including conducting risk reviews.
Ability to take requirements, standards and frameworks and apply in a practical application to future proposed designs and systems.
Experience developing / producing approved Function and Performance Specifications (FPS), Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Platform Integration Requirement Specifications (IRS).
- Ability to evaluate system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions and implement them with the assistance of vendors, developers and SMEs.
- Ability to conduct research, as well as rapidly learn new concepts and tasks, with a view of improving technical knowledge and skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of Interface/Integration experience, ideally in a Defence ICT-centric project.
In depth understanding of tactical environments and relevant interfaces.
Experience working within the Defence environment.
Experience working with installation of systems into Military Platforms.
- Experience in working with CASG SPOs and within CASG Engineering Management Systems.
- Experience in Engineering Management / Technical Project Management positions.
- Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas;
- Excellent written and speaking capability, with a well-developed ability to liaise effectively with and influence stakeholders.
