Position Description:
This role will work within SEA2273 Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.
The Maritime Change Release Coordinator will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
Develop and manage the Change and Configuration management process in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Collaborate with DICT to establish and monitor the Change Management Plan and Strategic Change requirements for the sustainment of Minerva
Manage complex change records across various platforms and technologies, minimising business impact and enhancing service delivery
Facilitate agreements on business rules that enhance Change Management delivery between deployed network requirements and overarching CIOG policies
Develop the Change Management Plans for Minerva sustainment by conducting analysis on Strategic Changes, deployment methods, and stakeholders
Provide input into various project documentation and developing specific process documentation for Minerva, including Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the change and configuration processes and recommend improvements as necessary
Conduct audits and reviews of the change and configuration management processes and practices to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and ITIL best practice.
Ensure all changes are assessed, authorised, scheduled, and managed in a controlled manner.
Report on and provide advice to stakeholders and Project Senior Leadership Team on changes that are conflicting, failed or did not meet Service Level Agreements.
Maintain involvement with the Chief Information Officer Group Service
Integration and Management team to ensure Project is adhering to all Defence change management mandates.

Evaluate risk to the business service during release planning.
Act as Project point of contact when liaising with wider CIOG stakeholders regarding change and configuration management matters.
Conduct and attend strategic change work groups and support meetings
Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Change Management roles and hold A firm understanding of the internal workings of Defence ICT and ITIL responsibilities.
Experience using the Defence Service Management System.
Proven client relationship management and able to translate technical issues into clear business English
Attention to detail with the ability to create high quality documentation and procedures
Information Technology Infrastructure Library V3 Foundation/ Practitioner
Highly skilled ITSM Change Manager who has worked across multiple branches and large-scale ADF projects within the Department of Defence.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute Change Management plans aligned with organisational objectives.
Practical knowledge of ITIL V4 practices including:
o Incident and Problem Management; and
o Change, Configuration, and Asset management
Desirable Skills and Experience Experience in developing and uplifting Change Management processes within complex IT environments, while ensuring adherence to governing policies and meeting business goals.
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
Prior experience with the Minerva system or similar deployed network.
