Test Manager

 Job Description:

  • Manage the performance of the test team, and individual members, by leading, empowering and motivating the team through day-to-day activities, and facilitating the delivery of fully tested fit for purpose solutions & deliverables.
  • Coach, mentor, provide on-the-job training and pastoral care to members of the test team.
  • Identify, create and maintain documentation to support test delivery, meet reporting obligations, and define quality standards for the test team.
  • Liaise with key project stakeholders to identify suitable test team resources for test estimates and delivery, and to initiate, build, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the ICT Division, business, and operational areas.
  • Tailor your communication (written and verbal) to respective audiences.
  • Drive strategic thinking and innovation within the test team to increase efficiencies in delivery of quality outcomes, and advocate for the team and its benefits across the organisation.
  • Provide technical advice on applications, systems, environments, data and tools (etc.) to the test team and stakeholders to facilitate test project delivery.
