Enterprise Architect

 Job Description:

Australian Citizens residing in Australia only respond.  Must be able to obtain Baseline.

Essential criteria

1. Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, with proven experience working with and leading solution, data, infrastructure and application architects to help them define, design and document ICT solutions that are consistent with the future-state architecture, identifying opportunities for sharing and re-use of data, processes and technology assets across a program or organization

2. Experience in identifying and scoping needs and opportunities for common platforms and services across the enterprise, understanding the current landscape and communicating the future-state architectures to relevant stakeholders, ensuring that key decisions are recorded with adequate traceability, and that relevant stakeholders have appropriate input into the development of the architecture

3. Excellent skills in communication, judgement, research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, problem solving, planning and time management, and an ability to undertake appropriate reviews and approval processes required to achieve acceptance and approval of future state architecture and other required decisions

4. Application of whole of government policies such as the DTAs Digital Service Standard and the Australian Signal Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM)

5. Experience in Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture tools and methodologies, developing cost models and provision of advice on cost management, authentication frameworks, patterns, roadmaps, architecting and consuming whole-of-government capabilities as part of enterprise solutions, including cross-agency collaboration and negotiation

6. Familiarity with cloud architecture and approaches, particularly Microsoft offerings
