Overview

The National Disability Insurance Agency, Office of the CIO (NDIA OCIO) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The NDIA seeks a MuleSoft Integration Engineer to join the Integration team within the Strategic Projects branch. The team is responsible for ensuring NDIAs ICT development program, as shaped by the NDIAs strategic plan, provides access to data and functions from various sources in a seamless and reliable manner.

Duties

  • Apply MuleSoft 4 experience to develop experience, process and system API assets.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Integration Analysts, Designers, BAs and Testers to interpret the end-to-end integration design and technical specifications to build the integration solution.
  • Help formulate and support quality integration standards.
  • Adhere to the data replication approach for the replication, transformation, archiving and migration of data.
  • Contribute to the specification preparation of data integration, both content and structure, for end-to-end replication from source to target systems.
  • Contribute to the analysis and specification of data integrations, both content and structure end-to-end.
  • Maintain the efficient operation of the end-to-end data integration process, including scheduling, error handling, and daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor relevant systems and associated integration performance and conduct tuning activities to maintain the optimum performance.
  • Develop reusable assets and components in line with the standards and patterns applied across the whole project.
  • Execute configuration testing and documentation and support the SIT effort.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to support the service transition to the BAU support team.
  • Adhere to the incremental delivery approach to enable the project to deliver early and continuously.

Essential Criteria

1. Proven experience integrating MuleSoft 4 platform in a complex ICT environment.

2. Ability to develop MuleSoft, CI/CD and Agile services within a DevOps environment.

3. Proven experience in designing and delivering REST based services including design of APIs.

4. Formal certifications and evidence of at least 5 years experience in integration development.

5. Proven experience in Agile CI/CD development and working within a DevOps environment.

6. Proven experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building rapport and managing stakeholder expectation.

Desirable Criteria

1. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
