​​Position Overview

The Project Data Analyst is responsible for performing complex data and business intelligence work under client direction and work with mild autonomy to achieve deliverable outcomes. Working with stakeholders, they are actively involved in relationship development and supporting managers in issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones

Deliver business intelligence solutions. Follow execution plans, including scheduling and expected outcomes

Assist in constructing supporting documentation for developed products that are comprehensive and can withstand pressure testing

Integrate advanced business intelligence functionality such as RLS, OLS, DAX and M

Support business intelligence products through to implementation under direction of the Data Stream leader

Perform ad hoc tasks for clients in both Excel and Power BI environments

Anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations

Assist the team in establishing and monitoring work priorities and workflow

Interpret policies and apply procedures within the project

Align business intelligence artifacts with updated policy and guidelines in a dynamic fashion to allow for future refinement

Use business systems to extrapolate and prepare data for reports, submissions and meetings

Experience in participating in and motivating a high performing team

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor degree in a relevant field

Technical writing skills with the ability to adapt communications to suit the target audience

Significant experience in a data analytics environment

Sound communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
