Cyber Security Specialist
Job Description:

Qualifications
Desirable:
- Specialist cyber security certifications (e.g. SANS or equivalent)
- Degree qualification in Cyber Security
- Cert IV (or equivalent) in either Cyber Security or Intelligence Operations or Security and Risk Management.
- CISM, CISSP, SSCP or other equivalent certifications
- Information security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) certification
Responsibilities
Delivery of:
- Cyber Supply Chain Risk analysis
- Vulnerability monitoring across all hardware/software
- Cyber security analysis and reporting against global threats
- Analysis of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
- Open-source intelligence analysis and reporting
Contribution to:
- IT security architecture analysis and design
- Incident Response Plan (IRP)
- Penetration (PEN) test planning
- Stakeholder engagements
- Preliminary Engineering system designs
- Procurement of ICT hardware/software across multiple projects
- Technology risk assessments on future technologies and research
Experience
Essential:
- Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) or equivalent experience.
- Open source intelligence analysis or risk assessments or technical reporting
- Intermediate understanding of cyber security and information technology
- Demonstrated knowledge of conducting risk mitigation strategies, stakeholder engagement and cyber security compliance activities
- Ability to work under limited supervision to achieve cyber security outcomes
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Desirable:
- Advanced understanding of cyber security and information technology
- Cyber security specialisations
- Australian government and/or Defence experience
- Strong briefing and presentation skills
