Overview
Scrum Master
Embed, support, guide and lead the Agile methodology (and Azure DevOps) into the way we work within Data Platforms group
Establish and facilitate the group level ceremonies.
Support the Product Manager in establishing a clear vision and roadmap as well as prioritizing the product backlog ensuring it is aligned with the overall IS&T strategy and brings value to the customers
Align and collaborate with Hub team Scrum Masters to get a visibility of any impediments and support to resolve them. Owns, tracks and resolves the impediments raised by teams.
Support and encourage teams in managing risks and dependencies
Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices
Create a visible system of work, including managing the product backlog to have a clear view on progress with the Epics and Features
Improve the flow of value by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Support and lead the Agility health maturity assessment and drive growth items from there.
Guide leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindset. Encourage collaboration between teams, business and Hub teams
Promote agility thought leadership within and outside of direct team
Manage vendors and partners as required
What you will bring to the role:
Experience as an Agile Scrum Master, Solution Train Engineer
Strong written and verbal communications skills including ability to interact well to GM level
Ability to share new findings and Agile/DevOps best practices
Self-motivated, excellent team player
Listen and support teams in problem identification and decision-making
Encourage and support the personal development of each individual and the development of teams
Coach people with powerful questions
Think beyond day-to-day activities; systems thinking
Support the teams commitments
Serve dynamic, cross-functional teams through empowerment and motivation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and role modelling the ability to reflect, take on feedback and learn

Highly Desirable Skills
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or another related field will be highly regarded, as will formal qualifications in project management methodology such as PMBOK, PMP, SAFe and/or Agile certification(s)
Working in IT for a global / multi-national, diversified corporation
