Overview
The Cyber Assurance Section within DFATs Cyber Security and Networks Branch, has a requirement for an experienced information security architecture specialist to provide secure by design information security architecture services to DFAT and portfolio agency environments.
To fill the responsibilities of the role, the successful candidate will be expected to have a sound understanding of the Information Security Manual, ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model, Protective Security Policy Framework and other relevant industry frameworks, and experience in systems, solutions or enterprise architecture roles.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Further develop and refine the departments enterprise security architecture framework and services catalogue.
Effectively engage with stakeholders on cyber security architecture activities, including the development and refinement of security architecture patterns.
Provide expert risk, assurance and compliance advice to DFAT business areas to understand, identify and document key controls to ensure key risks and compliance obligations are adequately managed.
Provide representation at technical committee and advisory board meetings, providing expert security architecture advice to facilitate the secure delivery of ICT services in support of the departments international mission objectives.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholder across the division, department and portfolio.
Assist with the teams management of competing priorities, delivering outcomes in line with the departments cyber security strategy, ICT business plan, and departmental mission objectives.
