Business Analyst RPA
Job Description:
Any eligible working visa can apply hybrid working in Melbourne
- Location: Mandatory Must be Melbourne-based and commute to the client office at 447 Collins Street on Tuesday and Wednesday (Anchor Days)
- Candidate must pass a background check for FinCrimes
Key Responsibilities include:
Requirement Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse detailed business requirements.
- Conduct thorough process assessments to identify areas suitable for automation using RPA, with a strong emphasis on utilising the Power Platform.
Process Automation Design:
- Work closely with RPA developers and technical teams to design automation solutions aligned with business goals and Power Platform capabilities.
- Create detailed process design documentation, including process flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and testing scenarios.
Power Platform Integration:
- Understanding of the capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, to enhance and extend RPA solutions.
- Collaborate with Power Platform developers to integrate RPA processes seamlessly with other applications and data sources.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure automated processes' accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes, including user training and process documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to automated processes and Power Platform functionalities.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant departments.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in RPA projects, ideally with a focus on the Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of business processes, lean sigma thinking and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in creating process documentation, including flowcharts and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with RPA tools - Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or alternatives (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
