Project Support Officer
The role of Business Support Officer is primarily administration focused and encompasses the following scope of duties:
Records Management (Objective)
Correspondence drafting and management
Identifying shortfalls in process and developing process documentation
Recruitment assistance inductions / exits, recruitment process support
Travel assistance, including bookings, acquittals, allowances
Base level ICT support (email set up, provisioning of equipment, logging support requests)
Vehicle Mgt
Security Officer (desirable but not critical)
Asset Mgt of attractive and portable items
Minor Procurement support
Management of Workgroup Operating Costs budget
General ad hoc administrative and business support tasks
It is critical that the PSO is flexible and able to operate at a high tempo, in the very dynamic environment which is PPB SPO. Whilst it is difficult to define, PPB SPO need a go-to person, who will take on any challenge and self-initiate solutions. Experience within the Defence environment and knowledge of Defence systems and processes would be highly valued, being that this is a short-term role, PPB SPO need someone to hit the ground running, with very little training input.
