  • Contract start 30 October 2023 to 12 months, 12 months extensions.
  • NV1 or NV2 clearance, Canberra, role.
  • Rate on offer $110 to $130/hour

Experience

Essential:

  • 5+ years Defence or Government Integrated Logistics / Warehouse Management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Defence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation.
  • Demonstrated IT Vendor Management Experience.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with Jira Service Desk or Insight Asset Management (CMDB)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute asset management policies, procedures and processes.
  • Ensure assets are managed in CIOGs asset CMDB (TAMIT) and utilise existing toolsets to analyse, review and track asset data.
  • Integrate and manage project assets within Insight CMDB.
  • Develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contracts.
  • Manage asset reconciliation, asset sanitisation and disposal agreements.
  • Undertake technical assessments to fit, form and function of assets
  • Manage and maintain hardware asset warranty and support contracts.
  • Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.
  • Regularly meet with Product Managers and Design Engineering teams to ensure IT needs and service requirements are being met.
  • Monitoring, managing and resolving Support Request tickets
  • Oversee ICT hardware stores, consumables and associated Warehouse Facilities at APW and HMAS Harman (JIWF).
  • Management of both deployed and non-deployed ICT hardware.
  • Ensure scheduled audits have been met and carried out (both internal and external).
  • Undertake regular reviews of the COSPOs Asset Management and Warehouse processes and procedures IAW Defence policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure End of Life (EOL) assets are disposed of IAW Defence policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor Warehouse Officers.
  • Provide reports to the ILS Manager on Warehouse tasks and activities.
  • Provide reports to the ILS Manager on Asset Management and Auditing.
  • Identify risks and issues to the ILS Manager on an as-required basis.
