Role Description

(Activity/Services that must be performed)

The Supplier Personnel must provide the following Services:

  • Leading and driving the people side of organisational change management for the new learning system (non-technical)
  • Developing a business change implementation plan to identify required changes to processes, procedures, systems, structures, ways of working and other change artefacts;
  • Using a structured process and set of tools for leading the people side of change in alignment with internal Defence frameworks, guidance and the LXP project plan. As well as outlining key business engagement messages that need to be communicated throughout the project/pilot, the following artefacts may be required deliverables:
    • Change Impact Assessment
    • Stakeholder Analysis and Tracker (and assuring this is kept up-to-date)
    • Change pathway mapping
    • Change Management Strategy & Plan
    • Communication Plan
    • Integrated Change Management Schedule
    • Change Agent Network Guide
    • Change Effectiveness and Closure Report, and
    • Other Discretionary Tools outlined in the Defence Change Management Framework as agreed.
  • The development of talking points, PowerPoint presentations, providing internal updates and developing briefs as directed;
  • Implementing organisational change management practices to support iterative/agile working;
  • Assessing and developing change management capabilities through knowledge transfer;
  • Working collaboratively and effectively with a Change Support Officer to achieve required outcomes
  • Engagement and tailored communication with stakeholders and everyone impacted by the change;
  • Monitoring the impact of the change management plan and sustaining and embedding change;
  • Providing guidance and direction on benefits realisation in collaboration with key stakeholders and internal team members;
  • Knowledge transfer to internal APS staff
  • Other tasks as directed.

Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements

The Supplier Personnel must have the following skill sets:

  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Prior senior level organisational change management experience
  • Providing training
  • Tracking and reporting
  • Artefact preparation
  • Monitor change impact
  • Excellent team player, communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, MS Excel.
  • The Supplier Personnel must meet the criteria required for the SFIA code/s and level and have the appropriate skills to carry out the services required.
