The Application Developer is responsible for providing high-quality development and
support services for a range of Business Applications. The position offers the opportunity to
work with both established business-as-usual systems, as well as the development of a range
of new services using the contemporary development frameworks.

You have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with staff and
their managers to ensure that system changes meet business and technical objectives in a
timely manner. Your ability to understand complex technical environments and work to
design robust, practical and supportable solutions will be an advantage as you undertake
system analysis, support and troubleshooting.

KEY DUTIES
Working within business-as-usual and project teams, undertake development of
applications and components that are robust, supportable, and maintainable.
Provide high-level application support for a range of critical business systems, ensuring
that services are reliable, with high availability levels.
Undertake business analysis and solution design work as required, ensuring that business
applications are developed in line with broader IT strategic objectives.
Adhere to change management, security, release, maintenance policies and procedures,
including ITIL framework.
Every application requires to address selection criteria as part of application submission

Essential Criteria

Oracle PL/SQL

Excellent skills across the Microsoft .NET stack, including SQL Server;

NET Core (v5) experience preferred;

front-end development (HTML/CSS/Javascript);

Desirable Criteria

Developing and integrating APIs;

SharePoint, SharePoint Online;

OpenText Content Server

BizTalk or similar middleware systems;
