Required Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Design including Incident and Problem Management.
5 years + experience within the Defence Industry and hold a firm understanding on the internal workings of Defence ICT and the ITIL framework.
ITIL v3 or v4 certification
Management skills for overseeing and coordination of a support team in relation to incident and problem management;
Proven client relationship management and able to translate technical issues into clear business English.
Attention to detail with the ability to create high quality documentation and procedures.
Practical knowledge of Configuration, Asset, Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL V4 practices).
Practical knowledge of Monitoring, Event and Service level Management implementation (ITIL V4 practices).
Knowledge management (ITIL V4 practices).
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience working within the Defence environment.
Previous experience in a team leadership support role.
Experience within High Priority Incident management.
