Overview

The Business Analyst are to undertake the following responsibilities:

  1. Acquire a working knowledge of NBA systems and processes;
  2. Develop and shape business requirements to ensure alignment between business expectations and current and planned ICT capabilities;
  3. Participate in solution discussions and propose and evaluate solution options;
  4. Work with technical subject matter expects to ensure business requirements are satisfied in line with NBAs ICT enterprise architecture and practices;
  5. Provide a business perspective into the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and to maximise the return on investment;
  6. Interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders;
  7. Showcase system functionality to business owners at regular intervals;
  8. Support team members and work collaboratively to achieve the team's goals;
  9. Work with business owners to maintain the backlog of user stories; and
  10. Identify risks and issues in the project and highlight them to the project manager in a timely fashion.
  11. Other analyst related duties as directed by the Deputy CIO and CIO.
