The Combat System Safety Engineer shall provide safety management and safety engineering
The Australian designed and built CEAFAR2 phased array radar
Integration of systems to support Australian weapons.
Integration of the Seahawk Romeo Maritime Combat Helicopter.
Australian communications systems; and
Australian legislative requirements.
The HCF Combat System Safety Lead would be responsible for managing the Materiel System Safety Program for the HCF Combat System. The HCF CS Safety Lead would report to the HCF CS PEM and be accountable to MIWS PE for:
Developing, reviewing and monitoring the HCF CS Materiel System Safety Program;
Executing the HCF CS Materiel System Safety Program Plan;
Maintaining the HCF CS Hazard log;
Developing and reviewing System Safety artefacts including Hazard Analysis Reports, Hazard Logs and Safety Case Report (SCR); and
Consulting, coordinating and cooperating with shared duty holders and other relevant stakeholders.
