Duties of the SAP Integration System Architect may include some or all of the following:

Responsibility for guidance & managing SAP Integration systems for large-scale, high-

volume hybrid SAP landscape by demonstrating strong understanding of basis area of SAP Integration layers like SAP Integration frameworks (CRM Middleware, IDOC, ODATA), SAP Integration systems (SAP PI/PO, CPI) along with strong understanding of development and Integration patterns of SAP Integrations systems, strong understanding of underlying frameworks used with in Integration layer and across SAP domains.

As system architect expectation is to have strong debug skills to identity performance issues in SAP Integration frameworks which could be server related and inefficient codes and development patterns used across SAP landscape.

Technology and Digital Programmes Group (TDP) provides the underpinning technology and expertise to support the Agencys vision in the provision of government services to Australians.

The Infrastructure Platforms Branch (IPB) is responsible for the design, implementation and operational management of ICT infrastructure, systems and platforms for the agency and partner agencies.

We manage and deliver contemporary cloud services that are trusted, secure, scalable, responsive, and easy to access.

The SAP and Database Platforms section supports critical SAP and Database infrastructure supporting the services that Australians use every day. These include mission critical services for Centrelink, Medicare, National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Department of Veteran Affairs, MyGov, Child Support and Aged Care. As an SAP BASIS Engineer in the SAP Operations team, you will be supporting some of the largest SAP environments in the world that are responsible for supporting mission critical applications that are responsible for processing 5.2 million claims a year and responsible for paying more than $150 billion a year to Australian Citizens.

May be required to join an on-call roster supporting services after hours. May be required

to complete work outside core hours (i.e., after hours and weekends).

Key Tasks/Duties

As a member of the SAP Integration System Architect team, you will be supporting the day-to-

day performance issues of the Agencys SAP systems by:

Memory & Thread management of SAP Integrations systems (ABAP, JAVA).

Good understanding of SAP JAVA based systems in terms of Service Pack upgrades, system configurations along with SOLMAN based integration.

Strong understanding of JCA frameworks, various adapter and runtime impacts of JCA architecture.

Strong understanding of Integration layer in ABAP stack, including BDOC, IDOC, SOA Manager, RFC's.

Strong understanding of gateway connections behaviour on ABAP and JAVA stack.

Good understanding of SAP CPI platform & hybrid integration model on SAP.

Good understanding of SAP BTP including API management layer.

Define Integration Strategy and design principles for the Integration landscape.

Extensive knowledge in ABAP developments around various processes/functionalities with

knowledge in SD/SCM/Procurement/Services and Warranty.

Excellent programming skill and well versed with S4 coding standard/methods.

Must have extensive experience of working in various SAP specific integration technologies

(ABAP Proxy, BAP/RFC/IDOC/ Web Services/ IDOC enhancements) Experience in Enhancement Framework, Object Oriented programming within SAP.

Monitor the SAP landscape, troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

Essential Criteria

1. 15+ years experience in managing large scale integration landscape.

2. Strong experience in cloud and on prem SAP integration layer systems.

3. Strong experience in SAP BTP.

4. SAP PI/PO basis Certified consultant.

5. SAP PI/PO development certified consultant.

6. Strong memory management skill on SAP net weaver.

7. Strong UI debugging knowledge in SAP ABAP and JAVA.

8. Strong SAP Net weaver basis background in handling performance issues.

9. Strong understanding of SAP HANA from integration point of view.

Desirable Criteria

1. Experience in the following monitoring tool Dynatrace, Elastic (Kabana).

2. Experience in monitoring of SAP PI/CPI systems.

3. Experience in the SAP code release cycle using Charm.

4. Experience in the deployment of SAP Support Packs.
