ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE:

Experience working on complex projects

Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritise complex tasks.

Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent written and communication skills.

Work in a collaborative environment.

DESIRABLE:

Understanding of the content of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and its application, and the One Defence Capability Model.

Previous Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) or Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG) experience.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience;

A recognised project management professional qualification (such as registered project manager under Australian Institute of Project Management.

COMPLIANCE:

Must hold or be eligible to hold Security Clearance to Negative Vetting level 1 (NV1).
