Primary Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the Hunter Class Frigate Combat System
HCF CS through the provision of specific Subject Matter Expertise in the domain
of Weapons, Effectors and Payloads across a range of warfare disciplines.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
1. Technical
* The provision of technical advice relating to the specific Weapons, Effectors
and Payloads domains, to support the project in acquiring and integrating
weapons, effectors and payloads to the HCF including:
* Gun and Missile systems
* Torpedo and ASW decoy systems
* Electronic Warfare systems, including jamming and decoy systems
* Attendance at working groups, workshops and other technical forums,
representing the Commonwealth and HCF CS programs interests through the
provision of technical advice.
* Supporting design maturation and technical decision making through preparing,
reporting and presenting a range of technical artefacts including:
* Engineering Change Submissions/Presentations
